Hi all,
1 month and 4 days since this happened and it's better, but has been the same for the past 3 weeks or so. I'm getting really annoyed to the point where I'm considering if I even have an anal fissure
So many people talk about the agony they go through during bm's. This doesn't happen to me. The pain kicks in right after a bm.
Symptoms are pain/discomfort post bm's; it's become almost a necessity for me to take a shower or bath immediately after every bm. This is getting a bit frustrating because my roommates are probably wondering why I need to shower at 2am. My bms aren't regular either which bothers me. I take 1000mg of magnesium a day which worked for me back in May and seems to be performing the same way now (yet, not as toothepasty as it was in May, a bit harder). Because of the difference I think I'm going to go back to eating wheatabix for breakfast, which is the only thing i did in may that i'm not doing now.
Just very discouraged! I can't remember how long my fissure took to heal in May because it kind of merged into another condition... but I think it was two months max.
Does anyone have a "raw" feeling? I have this feeling like between the cheeks and inside is just chafed somehow, like very raw and painful. It feels like it'd be red and inflamed but when I look down there it looks fine. I can't even see a fissure. Coconut oil helps for like an hour but as soon as it's absorbed I get the feeling again. I also dry with a hair dryer/ fan whenever possible.
Is it fairly characteristic to have pain DURING bm's with an anal fissure? Because what if what I have is completely different. I don't think I have hemorrhoids because I have no blood. But I have something! yikes... I think I'm finally going to make an appt with my GP for when my school goes on a one week holiday in ten days. Will keep updating, and hope everyone reading this is feeling better!
