Thank you everyone!
It's been feeling a little better lately. I've been drinking lots of water with fiber powder, eating oatmeal for breakfast and snacking on baby carrots and salad. I've also been trying zinc oxide and pain/antibiotic creams. It seems the water, fiber and sitz baths before and after a movement work best. The creams seem hit and miss. Sometimes they sting unbearably.
When I posted, the pain of a bad tooth infection, the fissures and challenging days with my kiddo came to a head. I was feeling pretty desperate but reading this forum has been very helpful.
I was behind in school work, Wife has been extremely busy in Law School and my child's symptoms were getting worse and dealing with insurance providers to get coverage for her therapies was overwhelming.
I find it interesting how I'm able to deal with 1 or 2 big problems better than many small issues. The small issues creep up and overwhelm me before I take corrective measures unlike big problems that I can resolve systematically.
Thanks again for the encouragement, everyone!
My username is not fitting. I am happy as a daddy and my little girl brings me joy and a sense of purpose that I've never had in my last 39 years. These fissures though, oooooh weeee. NO FUN AT ALL!
