vitimin D

Who has had their vitimin D levels checked?
Can not stress enough how important the big D is for immune function...its a stress hormone and balances out thyroid function and anables delivery of all major minerals to the blood.
When I eventualy went to my doctor about my fissure i had blood tests done for everything and i was very low in vitimin D...i stayed out of the sun cause i was vain about wrinkles...so now i sunbake alot...short bursts without sunscreen...still vain.. i put my t-shirt over my face.
I wonder if being the big D defiecent caused my celiac and IBS...my fissure was a number of things.. being dehydrated and stressed and eating to many naughty things and i had taken 2 cources of antbiotics before my fissure first reared its ugly head..that caused even more dehydration.
My mum has been taking supplements for 2 years and they have hardly increased her units at all..really think you need the sun...to bad if you live in the u.k or above texas.
Also alcohol and caffiene realy hinder absorbtion...talk to youre doctor about it.
Well know that i have a good D level and i drink alot of water i have cured my IBS...just not my celiac
