What can I put on my fissure scar to help heal/soften it? In a few weeks once my Botox kicks in I want to start applying something to help the skin in the area. Thanks for your help.

Google manuka honey and scar tissue, also castor oil and scar tissue. It says that they both heal wounds without scarring, but also disolve existing one. I am currently applying both because I do have scar tissue and when i go for a check up in two weeks,I will ask the doc to take a look and let me know if it's going away.

Wow please let me know what he says I live in nz so it's everywhere I've brought it before but hadn't heard any good story's or proof of it so I didn't stick to it. I just had Botox yesterday an the surgeon gave me a new fissure in the process

Yes, absolutely I 'll let you know. I figured if the honey doesn't help, at least it will keep the area germ free.
