Hi Patty,
As far as I know, yogurt is a great AF friendly food, nice and soft and great for digestion. It has a wealth of probiotics, I ate it all the time while I had my fissure and still do...

Yes, yogurt with live active cultures is an excellent way to stay regular. There is a brand called Activia that is advertised as a way to promote regularity but I think any brand that has live cultures will work.
I don't eat yogurt (well, frozen yogurt!) but I do take Natrol beads which have several strains of gut-friendly bacteria. It is not only good for digestion but also for the immune system
Hope you have a good weekend, Patty.
Hugs!

i stay away from it.
before turning to macrobiotics, i did the activia and danon active little bottle. i loved the taste of both but for me the dairy was too much and i produced a lot of respiratory mucous.
plus the other reason was that it is loaded with bad sugars.

I totally thought yogurt would be bad because it's a milk product? My grannie's always trying to get me to have yogurt because she says it's always good for the tummy, but I've been completely against it.
It doesn't cause you guys constipation or hardening of the stool?

It is the only dairy product I let myself have because of the cultures. You do want to make sure it isn't loaded with sugar though if you can.
