Zinc A&D ointment

Postby Jenbug » 12 Jan 2012, 14:22

I've been putting a bit of this on at night before I go to bed and the improvements have been pretty good!
I can walk without the pain I had, and going in the morning isn't a nightmare anymore, though there is still some stinging, it's manageable.
Also, one of my fissures is itching like mad, so I assume that's healing.

Jenbug, I'm guessing this ointment would be OTC?
At this point, I'll try just about anything.

Yes it is! its in the baby section, look for the A&D ointment with zinc, it's usually 10-11%
I got to thinking, we take zinc pills when we're sick to help our immune system..why not try it topically? And it's helped me at least! Worth a shot for $5 right?

Jenbug, you betcha!
I'm going to send my hubs for some - that and some Aloe Vera gel. Couldn't hurt, at this point.
