Also, if you really do have anismus, I highly recommend that you get a referral to a good pelvic floor physiotherapist if that's available in your area. I have found that colorectal doctors completely ignore the possibility that pelvic floor issues could be the underlying cause of a fissure.

I'm not sure if he's right? I don't have any other symptoms just a fissure an a tight anal muscle but he thinks maybe more without any tests I only said if feels like bms can't fit but isn't that just a tight muscle?

Has he done a digital exam? That would be a good way to tell, and you won't need any specific testing besides just palpating the muscles.

No he did nothing but on a good note he said if I need lis later he'll get my anal tone tested first which no other surgeon has mentioned so he's a decent surgeon
