I just realized today that the dull soreness that I have been having where my anus meets my retum might just be an internal hemmie. I think it might have been caused by the swelling I experienced as a result of the abscess surgery as it is right above the line of the cut.

I have an appt with my CRS to get it checked out. My question is what are bandings like? Do they hurt? I've never had one before, but I think this would be a case for one. Has anyone gotten a fissure from an internal hemmie banding?

seconded. All these problems seem to go hand-in-hand, as if one causes the next and so on.

fistulas and abscesses
hemmies
skin tags
