Still no BM.... Getting nervous about the possible size this thing is gonna be. Really hoping the Miralax is working its gooey magic and I don't end up with a brick...or a bunch of little pebbles... Thinking if taking some MoM just to make things move in the am.
Sigh

So, I just layed flat and pressed on my belly in the "descending colon" area and it feel soft so I am not as concerned. Usually if I have not gone for a few days there's a lump in there which always turns out to be a hard turd. Looking forward to soft poo tomorrow. Send me soft BM wishes please! Lol.

I went!! Looked like soft serve ice cream Image I broke down and took the MoM around 1p cuz I could feel some "matter" in my belly but still no urge. And I waited till the last possible minute to go into the bathroom--I think I was in denial ;/
All that being said, can't really say it hurt. Tbh, it really did feel like silk Image hehe. Little discomfort after and strange cleaning up after with all the stitches. Finding it to be awkward... The bidet didnt get me clean enough so I'm doing a sitz now and will follow up with more bidet and then some Balneol and a pad between my cheeks. And bed. Sweet sweet bed :)

Hi Anya I was thinking about you this evening and wondering if you had your first BM. So glad it didn't hurt and you're doing we'll. How are you doing with surgical pain or spasms, are you still taking Percocet. Hearing your story is giving me hope that I can do it too. Thank you. Suzy

This is easy-peezy compared to the fissurectomy! I'm taking the Percocet as needed. Mostly cuz I have twins and thus, cannot sit still. A friend said the Percocet is the most constipating so I tried Vicodin 7.5/500 today (I have a pharmacy in my kitchen from the various surgeries I've had) but it didnt really touch the pain. And after my beautiful BM I think I'll stick with the Percocet-I know the Miralax will push it thru.
Getting clean is a task in and of itself. The stitches are overwhelming. They don't hurt really, but they freak me out. Maybe cuz I can't actually see them. I had my poor hubby come check my butt twice to make sure I was clean down there. I think it'll become easier each time and I will develope a routine but for now I will say I am not looking forward to doing this all over again tomorrow. And I REALLY not looking forward to doing it when dh isn't here to double check for me.
Next time someone asks what I need I'll tell them "a hand mirror and a flashlight" and let their mind wander Image
