Thanks for all the words of support. I got there at 8.30am and had to wait and wait and wait, never got taken to theatre till 4pm and was in a state by then! Anyway i havent spoke to the surgeon since before the op but he said again he was doing an EUA with Botox and he mentioned Fissurectomy so is that what taking all the scar tissue away is called. I came round very quickly and begged them to let me go home (Mr Moses wanted me to stay over night) but the finally agreed, sent me away with Lidocaine, tramadol and movical and valium. He had injucted me with an anasthetic too so about bed time i started getting sore but i managed to get to sleep, was a bit daft today and went walking in town for new jeans, man am i sore now but i am hoping this is the beginning of the end! and i am trying hard to stay positive!!!!! Not been for a BM yet, i am terrified though, it hurts like hell to angel gas ! lol (although its not really funny)
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx only time will tell like everyone else eh?
P.S nice tattoo NG :) i like .

Wow that sounds like quite a day Image It's probably my American-ness talking, but I have to admit I had to go to Google and look up what "daft" meant :)
Anyhow here's hoping it's all a step in the right direction, sounds like there will be some pain/discomfort in the short term -- as to be expected after having such a procedure done -- but maybe within the next few days you'll see some improvement!
P.S. How'd it go with the wine last week?

I never realised daft was an alien word! lol you should listen to the Dundonian accent and phrases, you would be lost!! Fit like ken? hehe
Anyway, wine went okay, least i felt a bit happy for the first time in a while.

Way to go Jackie! I am proud of you and happy you made it rhough the procedure without any major difficulties!
What kind of recovery (as in rest and relaxation) do you have planned for the next few days-- at leastt heweekend is coming up!
Please saving the shopping and stuff for later and rest like a post-op surgery patient should always do!!

2:15 AM Pacific Time, Embarassing Confession #1:
I had to google multiple words from this post :)
Good to hear the wine went okay, I haven't had a beer for about 8 months now and am getting keen to "test the waters" myself soon.
