Hi Lecia,
I've been trying to find aloe vera capsules but haven't been . Where do you get it from? We don't have rite-aid here... I'll keep looking.

Hey Sunshine,
Just about any health food store here carries it. Do you have a natural foods or vitamin store up there?

Hmm Lecia there sure are, I usually just check big department type stores like Walmart. I'll look out for a health food store though!

Just wondering - has anyone experienced any burning with the Lily of the Dessert aloe vera gel? I noticed a teeensie bit of a burn the first time and after that it was okay, but today my behind was already a little sore and when I put it on, it stinged like crazy! Has anyone else noticed this?
WHen I used to apply aloe vera juice (with a qtip usually), that would never happen and even after a BM it would provide soothing relief. This gel is a bit different & i'm wondering if that may be because of the additional ingredients.
Any clue?
Thank you so much.. xo

Hey, SH. I haven't noticed any burning...but I use the Lily of the Desert JUICE, I've only used it a few times, and when I do, I just dump a little bit into my sitz bath (so I'm probably not even getting any benefits from it). Sorry to hear the gel is stinging.

i would recommend just buying a natural aloe vera plant - or plants - and use that as a natural lubrication/soothing gel for your anus.
the more natural, the better.......
except if you are having sex before marriage, please use condoms (hahahahahaha........) just a joke.....

I found the same thing happened to me when I tried the 100% aloe vera gel. I thought I might have a mild allergy.
