I read that it takes at least a year for the skin there is to get back to 80% of it's original strength an resiliency. I figure it will always be a weak spot though.
I wonder about using something to soften the scar, like vitamin E oil or that magic bee stuff or rosa moschata oil. All of those are supposed to be good for softening scars and making them smaller.
I'm no expert (LOL) but am looking into this myself for my episiotomy scar as well.
Those people who say you should be proud of your scars, don't have them down there! :D
for the constipation, I find eating a spoonful of olive oil twice a day makes my BMs 'slide' out easier...
