Any one been prescribed Rectogesic? I'm from UK?

Postby Buttercup » 24 Apr 2017, 03:20

I'm a migraine sufferer and it says not to take if you are. I'm calling docs today to ask for somthing else. I'm from UK, anyone know what they might prescribe instead or anyone taken rectogesic? It's annoying as I'd just like to get on with my treatment. Hope your all well.

Hi you can also take diliatzem it's meant to be really good but I had an allergic reaction to it so used rectogesic which was brill.
There is also nifepideine but it's not prescribed as much here in the UK

Thank for reply Mypoorbutt. Good to hear it suited you well without any of the side affects I read. I did use the rectogestic once before realising I shouldn't use. It seemed to do somthing, although I'm sure it would be better long term. I'm disappointed I can't use but doctors are currently writing up a new prescription. I didn't get to talk to the doctor just asked over the phone so will see what I will be prescribed. I'm just happy to be finally getting somewhere with all this!

Yes the rectogesic worked well for me from the first application. So did the diliatzem for the first two times then my whole behind broke out in an awful rash and felt like it was on fire lol
Oh yes fissure spasms are the worst pain I have ever felt....nothing else comes close
