fissure for a year or more?
Is it possible to heal without surgery if you have scar tissue?

my fissure was at the 3.6 years mark when i was going to get an LIS + fistulotomy. the fistulotomy thing wigged me out and i was a nervous twat. i was okay at that time with the LIS idea but not the fistulotomy.....
i was desperate.
but not out of hope.
and i turned to macrobiotics.
and in a month, a month before my confirmed LIS/fistulotomy, the CRS cancelled my procedures because i was healing really well.
so that was back in february.
and now that we are in august, this would be my four year anniversary.
but i believe that i am healed and have not had any fissure related issues.
i did have an evil skin tag/left over external pile that made a couple of months very uncomfortable but i think i got that under control now. if it bothers me again, i usually use vicks and aloe vera on it.
