Postby sufferer » 30 Oct 2012, 09:46

I had a doc apt today. She prescribed Dynapar for a week. I guess its a muscle relaxant. Has anyone tried this or other muscle relaxant's to heal AF? any luck?

I was prescribed diclofenac. It is an anti inflamatory pain killer. It made me feel sick so I had to stop using it.

hey guys,
Today i have a pain free BM. :D I'm still on diclofenac and I think it helps me to heal. I do think it has a muscle relaxant effect to cool down my spasm. I'm not sure what happen tomorrow but as for today i'm very happy at last after almost 4months today i had a pain free BM. I just make sure my stool is supper soft by taking high fiber food and supplement, drink a lot and sitz bath few times a day. Hopefully this is a sign for me to heal. Image

I used Diclofenac for months when I was suffering an anal fissure, also after various surgical procedures. It worked very well as a painkiller. Didn't know it was a muscle relaxant - never heard that before. However eventually, Diclofenac began to upset my stomach and make me feel queasy and nauseous, so I can't use it any more. Even over-the-counter Ibuprofen now has this effect on me, so I seem to have developed an intolerance to NSAIDs. It's one painkiller I can no longer use. Luckily the fissure is now cured (I had the LIS operation) so I don't need to take it.
