Ate pepper fish by accident now I am scared

Mother made stew fish and I ate it then after I ate it my nose started running I was like WTF did I just eat pepper? she said yes.

Wasn't too bad but it did burn a bit. Never eating pepper again

I really hope this chronic fissure heals and doesn't return
