Bleeding with every BM. New here, idk what to do

Postby Tanny83 » 27 Nov 2016, 22:35

So I've been experiencing constipation and diarrhea all my life. Constipation is still bad I've tried everything. Psyllium husk cleanse, senna, every laxative you can imagine. I'm in a lot of pain. Every time I go poo it's a lot of blood. Should I go to the dr.? My mom thinks I should go ER. I'm 33 and uninsured

Hi Tanny,

sorry to hear you've had trouble for so long! I think you should get checked out by a proper Colorectal Doctor not just a GP.

every laxative works in a different way and targets a different part of the digestion process, so when people overload on them they just don't work - it's best to get checked out, have a scope done to get to the root of the problem.

make sure you've got a high water intake, avoid caffeine & alcohol and constipating medication. After you have a BM maybe you can try a sitz bath with salt for symptom relief :)

Suffering since June 2013

Methods tried:
GTN cream - migraines!
Manuka Honey / Coconut oil / Aloe
tag excision X 2, botox x 3
Dilatiazem
dilatation 2 X daily + Retin-C Vitamin Scar Treatment Oil 2 X daily - best thing ever.
Now pain free 2/7/21
