Sh*t-I just looked and I was taking (4) 1300 mg capsules! The bottle said to take 1-4 a day so I just figured go for broke and take the highest dose. I wonder if that is okay.

Kim, sorry to have taken over. You are the best co-admin ever. You put up with so much. I wish you nothing but the best anal-rectal health for the rest of your life.

Lecia, if the bottle says OK then it shuold be fine. It really seems like a benign supplement to me.
Kim, well as long as they are only blips. I had small blips before this whole ordeal. They're still a little scary though.

Kim,
I am so sorry. I agree with Lecia I thought you were the untouchable one here, but our butts have a mind of there own sometimes don't they? How do you feel today? Any real pain? I am glad it was a little blip, wish I had little blips. LOL. This is something I think we are always going to have underlying healed or not. But it can be contolled and tolerated, hopefully. Oh Kim I hope you are well today. I will be thinking of you.
Take Care,
Patty

WHAT??!! Shorter periods, less cramps and bigger boobs...I'm in!! Can you tell me all of the reasons you are taking the evening primrose oil and what it actually is helping you all with??
Can I just say, I just got back from Disney as you know since I had some problems and was hounding you guys...but it was AMAZING!! I can't wait to go back next year!! It really did a lot of good for me mentally and physically even though I was a total wreck at the beginning and scared to leave the comfort of my home and Drs!! That is sad to have to feel that way but, as you all know this can be so unpredictable and scary at times. Anyway, I am SO GLAD I went away, it was the best medicine for me.Thank you all for responding so quickly to my frantic questions while I was away.
Of course now I am having a hard time getting back on the "bm track" due to travelling, but hopefully with enough magnesium and water it will all work out with no more bleeding...keeping my fingers crossed not only for myself but of course all of you as well!!

Welcome back. Glad the trip turned out to be memorable and not for being bad!!!

I get really bad cramps during my period that affect my sphincter. It feels like someone is sticking a pole up my arse and I have to do Lamaze breathing to get through the contraction. Some of the ladies here suggested Evening Primrose Oil to help with that and it reduced the cramps and even shortened by period. About the other thing, it is subjective. I think they got bigger but no one else agrees with me.

I am taking the E/P to help with constipation around that time !
This is usaully when my setbacks arise Image
I also get a tight bum feeling ...not a cramp, and it does seems to be helping with this....Heres hoping :D

So the E/P helps with constipation as well???? Never knew this. Has it helped to keep things moving along, or just soft?? Has anyone else felt it helped not only with their periods but with constipation as well?? Very interesting, I am going to look into this for myself....thanks!!
