Thanks again all! :D
Rio - That enriched mineral water sounds interesting - don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it here before.
Turk - Boiled bananas are delicious....Cook them in the skins and you can always add cinnamon & a bit of Greek yogurt to make them more yummy - Delicious!
I was just reading up on avocado oil! It's supposed to be amazing but they don't name the price, so I'm imagining it's pretty costly!
Thanks also Butt - What exactly did you change in your diet to beat your fissure for good? I remember reading bread and whole grains caused you issues right?
With still being prone to IBS, I'm convinced there's still something I need to be doing to counteract the symptoms particularly the fluctuations from hard stools to diahrroea but haven't quite got it figured out.....

Basically Breads and salt ETO.

Not so much whole grains per se as I eat whole grain cereal all
the time. Probably because those cereals are fortified with
magnesium and other "plug" and hard bm defeating ingredients,
along with the magnesium fortified milk I have no issues with them.

Eating those sandwiches (I look at a piece of bread as basically a sponge)
on a empty stomach is suicidal for me. I even tried ditching bread and seeing
if just a high salt diet caused me any problems "down there". Sure 'nough that
gave me a sore bum too.

when I greatly reduced both; bread and other high floury based foods;
plus thoroughly checking the sodium content per serving (has to be
300 mg or less), thats when my AF's really cleared up for good.

Oh how I wish you will find that missing link if its out there for you ETO.
Now I feel like I got off easy with finding my culprits and having no IBS
or other issues.

Yes ETO, let's hope there's something that will stop those wild fluctuations of
yours and that you'll find it soon.

Yes, I am a porridge girl too!

Porridge with Linseed and maple syrup, yummy! Then Decaf tea, water and my Magnesium and Vit C.
Snacks are oatcakes or fruit mid morning with lemon and ginger or Peppermint tea (great for digestion and IBS)
Sometimes I switch to GF toasted bread with jam or peanut butter. No eggs now, after the omelette incident!
