can i drink beer ?

Hi everyone im new to this forum . i want to know can i drink come beer when im healing from fistula surgery ?
i did fistula surgery one week ago .
and is it normal to have itchy and swelling ?
i m alcoholic but i already stop drinking for one week . is it okay to drink like 3 time a week ?

tiger -- swelling and itchiness is normal...you are post surgery so be gentle on yourself. alcohol is not a helpful agent in the healing process so if you can stay away from it you should try to...it can dehydrate you and you want to make sure you are well hydrated.

hope your healing comes along smoothly and quickly
