Could M.O.M and Miralax be a bad combo?

Postby Raul » 30 Oct 2008, 10:29

I've been reading some past threads and found that a couple of people use Miralax and M.O.M.
I've just used some M.O.M yesterday night, and this morning had 2 extra soft BM's.
Which is good because the last couple of days I've been having really hard BM's.
I was thinking of using Miralax in the morning and M.O.M at night.

Does anyone know if there is any side effects in taking both on the same day?

Hi,
I take both myself. Miralax in the morning and MOM in the evening and can't say that I have had any bad effects. Now the dosing is going to vary from person to person though. I would start out slow and find what gives you soft bms without it being too watery or too frequently but I have used both for about 1 1/2 years now.

Thanks Lecia for your advice. Image
I've been reading your past posts, and (correct me if I am wrong)saw that you had healed your AF the natural way, without surgery or botox.
I'm trying to do the same thing.
I've also read that you take FISOL and flaxseed oil capsules.
I just received my FISOL and flaxseed oil capsules in the mail.
I'm going to start taking them throughout the day.
How long did it take you to heal your AF completely?
Thank you Tabby, It's Achmed the dead terrorist!

Hi Raul,
Yeah, I used diltiazem and 3-4 hot baths and a very fiber rich diet with probiotics and oils to get over mine. I might have considered the surgery but it wasn't an option since I have prexisting nerve damage in my pelvis that would put me at high risk for incontinence.

That is great you ordered the oils. They really make a difference for me. The coating just helps thing slip out and slide by the fissure. Also the A&D ointment was a lifesaver because I would put that just around and inside to occlude the area and keep poop from getting into the fissure.

It took me 4 months to get over the fissure but mine was caused by a surgery gone bad.

Sounds like you are taking the right steps to get this under control but it is a constant battle. That area will be weak for some time so even when you feel better you need to keep doing what you are doing!
