do u have to stay in hossie?

when u have this operation to remove fissures or can u do it as a day patient?? do they ever put u on a drip for it as well? i had to have a drip after my colonoscopy as i was dehydrated. i tend to not drink much :-(

When I had my LIS, I went in the morning and came about about lunch time the next day.
Yes I had a drip - and you will probably too, so you dont have to worry about dehydration...
you may end up thirsty anyway after a GA.. I was.. and drank HEAPS!!

Remember, they don't remove the fissure...they only cut a muscle in your sphincter which makes the spasms go away so your fissure can heal.
