Do you always see GI first

Postby mystery » 15 Mar 2017, 11:44

Do you always see a GI before the CRS? I'm having trouble deciding which doctor I should see. I have not had good luck with GI's in the past. There are no CRS in my area & so I will have to go out of town. I'm nervous I will choose a CRS that is not gentle. I've asked everyone I know including my internist & no one seems to know a CRS. Thanks.

If you have the choice always see a CRS for fissures. They have more experience with them and if needed will have performed more ops on them. I know some CRS can be a less than gentle but so can any DR when examining that area.
Of course the choice is always up to you but the GI may send you to a CRS anyway
Good luck
