I suppose you can't really tell for sure. But I'd think if you actually re-tore you'd be much more sore or have some blood. I'm in the situation now. Went a week feeling good, had some issues for a couple days now I believe I have irritated the healing progress. The pain isn't out of control, but it's there.
I'd be willing to bet you're not actually torn.

That makes me feel a little better. The thing is, I could live with this level of pain forever without a problem, but the anxiety of a relapse is terrible. I don't want to feel anything abnormal down there!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Compared to what it was at the beginning, it's nothing. But the thing is, you still know all is not completely "normal" down there and yeah, the living in fear is not where it's at!
I'd say just keep being careful (boo) and you'll be fine. Remember, the longer you go without actually re-tearing, the more chance you have of not ever tearing again.

I have figured out one thing, because I've been watching my diet very closely. Any time I go a couple of days without eating a sweet potato, that results in firm BM's and irritation. The sweet potato seems to be what keep everything moving smoothly.

I have an Actifry (love it). I cut the sweet potato into fries, add a spoonful of olive or coconut oil, cook for 45 minutes, add a bit of salt and voila! You can also oven bake them, which tastes just as good but it's a bit more work because you have to flip them halfway through, lay them out on a baking sheet, etc.

I had not heard of an Actify, I had to Google. LOL That looks fantastic and so versatile! Thank you for the tip, I may start eating those. You're right, it's kind of a pain doing them in the oven. :-)
