Hi , I’m paul. Suffered with fissures for a few years but itchy Anus for 40 years. The last few years since fissures have got me very depressed. No steroid , creams, baths, diet change makes any difference. Drs just give more creams. I’m currently in a lot of pain. I don’t understand how or why I’ve got fissures. Is it because I’ve scratched so much? Sometimes the itching goes for weeks and weeks and then it’s back. I see no pattern. Nothing I can be sure of that I can do to change or help the stress and pain.
Scared of next step which I fear has to be me demanding to a Dr I go to a specialist in fissures? Any guidance would be great. It’s affecting my whole life , my sleep. Thanks
