Finally decided to register in the website and ask my question after reading the forums for long time.

I have transphincetric fistula and 3 weeks before had Seton placed by general surgeon. Had a doctor visit a week before and gave the following options,
1- simply remove Seton in doctor office after 6 weeks.
2- placing plug
3- consulting with crs.

I would like to know simply removing Seton will cure or I have to go for next operation ?

Please share your experience on what has been done after Seton placement. Thanks for all your support.

I don't have Crohn's.
