I haven't been to the loo in five days. Im loosing weight. the anal canal is in spams and I ant to know if this is the reason why people end up with an infection??????????

If you haven't had a poop for 5 days, you should see a doctor. You really need to get things moving!

Hi all, well I had my bowel movements today...3 in all by moving my body around and gentle excercises. It was very very painful and Im lying here on my stomach with an ice pack which is only taking the edge off. It fely strange when I was passing the stool????

My doc saw two anal fissures the other day....originally there was one.

Saw my neurologist today who said she is arranging for a gastro to be available for me should things go bad.

Well since the bowel movements today the pain is though the roof...I had a look...it looks sore and inflamed and has like red small lumps around it??????????

When I press on a nerve just above the anus the pain subsides. If I stand up the pain is worse. I think there is an infection so if pain doesn't stop tonight will call my neuro in the morning

Its like a burning nerve pain. How would I know if something is infected?

You will not know unless you see a doctor. We think that is what you can do and that is what we all advise.

Ok thankyou for this. My doc saw it Tuesday and said it was fine. Will see what the weekend brings,
