I got nifedipine 8 days ago. I’ve seen zero change. Intense pain with BM, ok for a couple hours, then two or so hours of intense pain midday. (I’m doing all the other stuff water, miralax, diet, bath).

Has anyone used it and seen a difference? How long did it take? (I’ve tried both internal and external application, no difference)

I had it a few times. I didn't have any relief that I noticed. I went to a CRS in 2014-15. Then I went to another one in 2020. The most recent one prescribed niphedipine/lidocane. I was hopeful. It didn't work. He then said let's do the LIS and get your life back. And the rest is history. Get the LIS - all of this will be fixed!
