Soo it's been 5 months since my fissure.I got some relief from nifidepine and miralax,been taking miralax since 5 months and this is the secind relapse.I'm so done with it.
I have a 5 month old which makes me sad i can't give her full attention.
Sometimes i just want my life to end.this is soo soo frustrating.
I ate a couple of french fries and it came back even with a normal poop.
Today is day 3rd and i still have a sharp poke on the right.
Been to CRS he suggested surgery which i read is not very helping in some cases.

I think if your surgeon is recommending surgery and you aren’t seeing much improvement with the creams then surgery is worth trying.
LIS cures a fissure in 97% of cases and even complicated cases like mine have been healed by the surgery even if it was tough at times.
If your in pain every day even from a normal BM then maybe surgery is the best option for you. Lots of members on here have had LIS and been pain free after a few days and back to normal after a couple of weeks, is there an underlying issue why you think surgery won’t work for you
