I found something for you !!!!! In the "Ambulatory Anorectal Surgery" book I found this info : ...13 patients with persistent anal fissure after LIS undergone ENDOANAL ULTRASONOGRAPHY. It showed that 2 patients had only limited internal sphincerectomy and others undergone inadvertent division of the EXTERNAL anal sphincter with no division of INTERNAL anal sph. Corrective operations were performed and ALL patients completely healed in 8 WEEKS !!!!!!! :cheer: So, first find CRS and than ask for ulrasound examination to see if the first guy missed correct incision site !!!!!

Hope this will ease your mind - because fissure always heal at the end ; )))

LOTS OF LOVE,
