We all know how much these damn fissures can mess with our mental health. Some days are TOUGH but I have always felt ten times better on days filled with laughter. I also know that when I feel constipated I can stress a lot, which makes me even more constipated and then it becomes a vicious cycle. These days if my morning BM doesn't come at the time it should, I watch some comedy, my body relaxes and with a little help from my friend, Mr. prune juice, I am on my merry way to the bathroom in no time.
I am currently on day 6 post-op and while things are going great, I still need some distractions to stop thinking about my butthole 24/7. Here are some of mine:
