Never went in as lump kept getting smaller and smaller. So that's at least good. Unfortunately my fissure is hurting as bad as ever. Lis site is healing great so far with very little pain. Fissure is now back to hurting each bm with soreness after lasting all day. I am so down. Wishing now I never had surgery. Hasn't even been two weeks but I felt better the first few days after surgery than I do now. Wonder if anyone else fissure took a long time to heal after lis but finally did.

Ok I guess the lump is still there. Not painful but very sensitive. I'm very reluctant to go because it would be a 5 hr trip for me. Is it possible it's from the lidocaine/whatever they inject? It is smaller than it was but sensitive today. Right next to the stitches. Does not look red and no discharge?

Well, I was having an improvement, but today I think I have had a damn re-tear(again).. Sigh. Not having a great time at the moment, there has been a family bereavement so the stress isn't helping me. Waiting to see new CRS..... Xx hope you are okay.

Oh Rachael I'm sorry that you have re -tear and I'm sure you are very frustrating right now. Dear try not to stress your self, I know it's easier to say than doing it. I hope you'll get relief soon...take care

Scared ann my lump is still there- same size. And it is still sensitive. I think I will call and have it looked at. Was your abscess red or hot? Or just sensitive like my pea size lump? I am quite worried about it now as it is nit getting smaller.

My abscess kind a pinkish color/slight red and hot. I'm 2 months now but still have a pea sized swollen looking skin.if it's bothering you call your CRS and let him/her look at it...hope you get an answer

Called my Crs and spoke to nurse. She didn't seem concerned about the lump because it isn't hot or really painful. She said probably from the cut or injection maybe. I am not totally convinced. I will try and give it more time though. I fear maybe it is a hem from the injection? Not sure how to make it heal.
