Laurie & Overit, kudos for making the decision to have surgery. I'm 5 weeks post op (fissurectomy and LIS) and feeling really good this past week, the best that I have felt since this AF ordeal 2 years ago. I had my first post op exam today and CRS told me it is healing well. Your can read my journal below. My CRS recommended fiber supplement, Metamucil to keep stool formed and soft.

Things might seem to get worst before they get better so stay positive and with time YOU WILL HEAL. I wish you both a speedy recovery. I'm here to help if you have any questions.
