I'm sort of confused. I've been managing my fissure, and although the pain after a BM has died down, the itchyness and discharge after a BM has gone up. I know itching is a symptom of a fissure, but what about the discharge? I don't think it's from the other two hems I have because the mucusy discharge seems to be coming from the site of the fissure.

It's yellow/white in color. It should be noted I bought forces of nature fissure control oil and have been applying it as directed (about twice a day, I usually do it after my bath after a BM). The oil is slightly blue in color.

I'm a bit scared that it might be infected, although I take proper care down there to maintain good hygiene. I've also heard discharge can be a sign of healing.
