Mucus/Moist after LIS

Postby Salehmhr99 » 24 Feb 2023, 06:17

I had LIS surgery 3.5 months ago. I have that continuous moist sensation, it's probably mucus. the seepage is colorless and odorless like water. I don't have any soiling or cleaning problem after BM. also, no gas incontinence issues.
I'm very frustrated that I will live with that forever, so please if anyone experienced that issue can tell me what's that and will it go away with time!!

I have had that since the start of my anal fissure. Just in the first bit of my butt cheeks it always feels wet. No smell to it if blood or feces. Get on my underwear which is disquieting. Was hoping as my fissure heals it will stop

Hey Lemonwater925,
Did you notice that it increases with walking or running! Also did you have LIS?

No treatment aside from the Diltizem cream. It turned my skin to shoe leather. Using vitamin E cream to fix that up.

Yes and Yes! If I have a BM and then go walking for a few miles (which I try to do daily), I sometimes feel an irritation in my anus that I have come to realize is a little secretion post-BM. It might ever been a little stool but it's barely there (never enough to dirty my underwear!). It just makes it itch and feel a little annoying. I am sure the LIS had a little do with it. A completely acceptable trade off! I am definitely not incontinent.

Hi, I'm going through something like Salehmhr99. I had LIS 10 months ago, the anal fissure is long gone but the leakage is a daily thing for me (or every two days at much). The leak is not blood, and is not particullary smelly or colorful but makes my inner cheecks damp (it's worse when I walk). Has any of you guys solved it? Or these are symptoms of a fistule?
