Thank you and my prayers for both of us and anyone in this group who is still suffering from that pain. I hope you recover without surgery.

Day 11, pain reduced. I struggle for about 2 hours after BMs and I see blood on one side of my stool and I am still discharging and wearing pads to prevent it from getting in my underwear. All of that is inconvenient but manageable. I was losing my mind before the surgery. I am glad I did it and I hope the pain and blood and the discharge will stop.

How you feeling?

I am starting to get concerns about the discharge and blood that are coming out and they don't seem to be reducing

Please contact your doctor about this. It may be possible that you have an infection that needs immediate attention. If not, he should at least know that your recovery isn't going as expected.
8/16-12/16: Fissure due to antibiotics
5/17: Botox to sphincter, fissure healed
9/19: Trigger point injections and pudendal nerve block
11/19: Botox to pelvic floor
8/20: Botox to pelvic floor in new location.
On and off in pelvic physical therapy

Hope you get to see a doctor soon to investigate the surgical area and make sure no infection and all is healing. Best wishes and keep us posted if you can. Hoping for the best outcome for you.

Thank you for the advice and for sharing your opinion. Yesterday I almost went to the ER. I was bleeding heavy thick red blood non-stop for few hours and I was worried about losing too much blood and not knowing how to stop the bleeding. but eventually, it stopped. I don't even know what triggered it. I took my temperature and I didn't have a fever. Today I felt better. I didn't bleed but was discharging all day as normal since I had the surgery 13 days ago. I am not worried today, I want to call my doctor's office tomorrow but I don't want him to be annoyed by me or think that I am just being anxious or overreacting. I have a follow-up appointment in Feb. I may call or wait for the appointment depending of how I feel tomorrow.

Try not to worry about annoying your doctor. They are there to help you not brush off your concerns. Please reach out to him when you can.

I want to second the advice to call your doctor right away and not wait for your next appointment. Bleeding and discharging all the time after 2 weeks should be looked at and the doctors are there to take care of you. Best wishes and I hope you get to see a doctor very soon just to make sure all is well. It never hurts to make sure all is well and is the best preventative against anything negative developing.
