Hey everyone!! I'm new to this but have been reading a lot on here. I'm scheduled to have a fissurectomy tomorrow after dealing with chronic fissure for over 2 years!!! Any help or advice is much appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum, Mamalucia.
As your surgery is imminent, I would suggest this very good link to Davo's posts on his surgery and recovery.

Hope all goes well for you! Image Let us know.

Thank you for your reply....it seems that he had a different surgery then I have scheduled so I'm assuming the road to recovery would be different. I'm told my procedure is a bit more invasive.

With a fissurectomy, it is usual to do a LIS at the same time. Perhaps your surgeon is following a different route. I don't believe that whichever is done, the road to recovery would not be helped by the post suggested
Here is a link that you might like to follow, with quite a few posts:

Wish you well. Feel free to come back and ask any questions.
