The gastro told me to apply the nitro 0.2% at 4 times a day. Any suggestions on application schedule? Do I need to wake up in the middle of the AM to apply each dose 6 hours apart?
At what point do I stop the nitro before a colonoscopy? I don't know what to expect with the colonoscopy prep other than I know I will be cleaning my colon out (not pretty). LOL!
Why did I not think to ask the gastro these questions?? Maybe it was because she was in such a hurry! Yesterday was my first visit to her and she did not even examine the fissure. She said she would rather get a good look when she did the colonoscopy. Is this normal?

I wouldn't try waking in the middle of the night for it, that would get old fast. Just maybe right at bedtime then right when you wake up. That's about eight hours.
Yes, my 1st surgeon waited to put me under before he looked. (he was not a CRS, just a general surgeon.) If I were the Dr. I would try to do it all at once, too.

i applied mine 5-6 times a day.and i caked it on at night..and after a bm.i went tfrom .05% to a "contraversial" 2% cream which is extremly powerful and will give you terrible headaches,but only lasted for a few mins for the 1st week or so,every now and then i will get one though.it works though
