No pain, then pain

Postby Cupcake » 10 Sep 2015, 20:07

Hi Everyone,
I believe I am healing after about 2 months. I find that I'll go a day mostly without pain, then the next I'll have some. I know there are twists and turns in the healing process.

For those of you healed or healing, can you all tell me your experiences with this and how long in your particular case did you do the back and forth day by day before you got to actually several days in a row painless. (or mostly). Just want a guideline, I know everyone is different.

Thanks for any help.

I'm going through the same. I've Been on this roller coaster for 2 years and after two operations I've been healing for a month as of today. Some days I feel ok but days like yesterday had me crying. I've been told to expect this for at least 3 months before nerve endings can repair etc
Suffering since June 2013

Methods tried:
GTN cream - migraines!
Manuka Honey / Coconut oil / Aloe
tag excision X 2, botox x 3
Dilatiazem
dilatation 2 X daily + Retin-C Vitamin Scar Treatment Oil 2 X daily - best thing ever.
Now pain free 2/7/21

It took me about five or six months before I had completely pain-free days, several in a row, and I would think I was 100% but then I'd be sore again for a few days for no reason I could figure out. Then I'd go even longer without pain, then a minor relapse, etc. Now 7 months after the tear I think I am totally healed (touch wood.) Each time I felt the pain it healed a little quicker until it just didn't come back.
