So I had a procedure a couple weeks ago. I had eua, fissurectomy and Botox. My procedure was combined with pelvic floor repairs and I had two surgeons - CRS and Urogyn. My urogyn handled all the hospital followup and most of my discharge paperwork was related to the pelvic floor repairs. The paperwork indicated to follow up with the urogyn clinic for a follow up appointment. I got no discharge instructions relating specifically to the fissurectomy or Botox injections. I have called the CR clinic to inquire about the timing of my post op appt with CRS. The CRS called me and said the eua revealed my fissure was healing but since it was big he only injected the Botox to help it heal better. He said he also cleaned the edges so it would heal better. He said he did not need to see me post op unless I continues having problems. Does this sound normal?
