Oat free flapjack?

Postby sugarspice » 14 Apr 2014, 13:35

Anyone good at recipes? I need a soluble fibre type flapjack, but oats (for some strange reason) make me constipated!!

Something containing flaxseed, fruit and maybe a 'few' oats would be good?

I keep seeing 'gluten free' oats, but I don't know whether it's the 'gluten' part of oats that makes me constipated or not, so bit worried about trying those.

Or does anyone know of a flapjack on the market that I could try?

I lurrveeee flapjacks and miss them a lot! Don't know how people stay full without eating them! lol

Thanks in advance

Maybe use some Muesli to make it. I know it's got oats, but not the majority.

Crushed breakfast cereal?? Corn flakes, bran flakes, rice crispies, raisins, finely chopped nuts, spoonful of ground flax, sugar, butter syrup?? Sounds yummy!! Lol
