I am thankful for these things on Mother's Day:
My mother is alive and very healthy and takes no prescription drugs. She will be 84 this July.
My son starts his summer job today and is half way through pharm school. Summer jobs are difficult to find in our current economy.
I am feeling much better than I did a year ago and am beginning my golf season in style wearing many Scottish "things" and now also have a new golf bag and shoes.
My younger son is presently in remission and stable with his Crohn's Disease.
I have a husband unlike many of my other friends.
I have met some wonderful people on this board who I now consider to be my friends.
I have a new friend from my line dancing group with whom I have a lot in common. She is a social worker for the Alzheimer's Association and has a brother with Asberger's Syndrome.
I have a new outlet which will help me be of service to my fellow man--the ARC.
