Nov '14 LIS/sentinel tag removal
Feb '15 Deroofing of recurrent infection from LIS
summer '15-healed but still ongoing muscle dysfunction/pain

kitchen roll is paper towel for Americans!
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

Sorry for your pain! Yes maybe some cold compresses will help instead of heat. Worth a try I am sure. Also even if you just get a bag of ice in the general area and leave it for a while, the whole area will get cold without having to spread things apart to much. Hope you get some relief!
