Postby New mum » 08 Jan 2011, 04:58

So i have my post op appointment with my crs in 2 days and i am stressing that it may make things worse. I am still sore and only feeling about 60%. Last time i seen him before lis i left feeling like crap and in so much pain.
What has everyones post op appointment been like and do they do anything??
I dont want to go, but then i want to go to see how my fissure is healing!

My CRS was very careful at my one week post-op appointment. However, she wanted to do a full exam with anuscope at 3-4 weeks. My 3-week appointment was scheduled for yesterday, but I wasn't anywhere near comfortable with that so I rescheduled for 5 weeks (2 weeks from now).

Hey New mum,
My CRS didn't do anything but gently pull my cheeks apart and take a look. She didn't go inside. I was still sore a little at mine. I was 4 weeks post-op.
I'm almost 3 months now and things are feeling really good at this point, so don't be discouraged with 60%. You are almost there and well on your way!

I think they can see a lot by just pulling the cheeks apart. That is how I was originally diagnosed. I don't know why these doctors want to further aggrevate the area if healing is satisfactorily progressing.
