So, I have been pretty MIA on here since Christmas. I was doing really well during the Christmas break back home (second round of Botox was December 2), despite having a lower fiber diet than usual. Eating more proteins and no raw veggies has seemed to help me. I went two and a half weeks without any bleeding, but recently I have had the tiniest of blood after wiping. I am hoping it was just one incident and I'll be back on track quickly. In addition to eating more protein and no raw veggies, I try to now only have one BM a day. To accomplish that, I take two teaspoons of fiber each morning. I try to limit my coffee (and caffeine in general) to one cup, and that's only if I am feeling well, and typically before my BM that day.
I think it's strange that raw veggies were causing an issue for me. I think it caused more loose movements, which irritated the fissure more. I am also trying to cut back on the Miralax slowly.
Hoping things are looking good for my second appointment next week.
