Anal fissure?

Postby Loobieburt » 08 Apr 2014, 03:57

A few months ago I went private after a year of bleeding heavily on and off.

Whilst under observation to see if the many creams they prescribed worked but no joy I tried honey and this worked straight away.

No bleeding for 4 months meant I thought great it's finished

This morning a pain as I passed a hardish stool which feels halfway up? Does that make sense?

Are most people fissures near the end/opening?

I am sitting here now and get a dull ache.

Is this the same sort of symptom? I know if I use the honey again it will go but probably come back again.

Any thoughts or advise ?

I believe most, though certainly not all, fissures are visible from the outside as they occur near the anal opening.

Are you using anything in the way of diet and stool softeners?
