YES- absolutely agree with all of the above. I am a vegan who eats a primarily whole food, high fiber high plant protein diet and have been for years, which actually was a detractor when trying to solve my AF problem. More fiber can equate to more intestinal distress, more bathroom time, etc. Also, my bowels freak out when I have my period, so more fiber would kill me. I found that I would actually get relief when I ate less fiber...maybe a slice or two of the unhealthy white bread my kids insist on eating, haha!

I find that the intestinal distress from fiber and a plant based diet can be relieved by a good probiotic too.
