Haha good question. I have no idea what happens to the hair. I guess it doesn't matter much.

same happens to me...the week before you start thinking maybe it's just about to get better. If you've had an open wound in such a sensitive area for so long, it's time to give this a shot. I wish you tons of luck and am looking forward to hearing you're all healed sometime soon.

OMB, since it seems you, me, PinPin, and Suzy and perhaps a few others have similar cases of non healing wounds post/hemmie surgery, I was wondering what your pain levels have been like? A lot of classic fissure cases describe excruciating or severe pain. I have my days and moments certainly, but I'd describe my pain as more annoying and incessant than unbearable. I think this is because I don't have a tight sphincter spasm squeezing my wound all day the way others do. I was wondering if you'd say your pain levels are similar? Or would you describe your pain as severely as many others with muscle spasm caused fissures would?

Yes, I have pain similar to yourself... Some days it's just an annoying ache, others a stingy knife like stabbing pain, but mostly just a constant pain ( around a 3/4 out of 10) that I just live with.
I think my most used phrase to my family and friends over the last couple of years has to be " god my bum is yanging " as I think that word describes the throbbing, sting perfectly!! I look forward to the day I no longer say it!! Lol
