I'm seeing a physical therapist and a chronic pain specialist... I've been doing physical therapy for 3 months with no improvement so I was finally referred to the chronic pelvic pain specialist, she has 18 years of experience... She also treats my friend who has PN.

2/14 Fissure developed
3/14 Diagnosed w/ fissure given Nifedipine
4/14 Referred to Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy=Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
5/14 Fissure declared "healed"/chronic anal pain persists
9/5/14 Botox to pelvic floor
9/22 biofeedback

I had a csection and then I got a fissure so perhaps that tighten up my muscles...?
