Hi Everyone

Does anyone one know what cause's the itch.

my BM have been fine since changing my diet but every now and again i get the itch.

Lots of people experience this. It depends, I think. Could be twinges from your fissure. Could be a rash developing from whatever ointments you are using. Could be a sign of healing. Whatever it is, it can be maddening!
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!
